*The Press Operator II efficiently sets up and operates one or more of the following presses: 650 Webtron up to 6 colors, 750 Webtron, 7 M.A., 10 M.A., Gallus, and Aquaflex press. Strives to improve on set-up, run, clean-up and waste standards.Essential Functions:•Makes or recommends changes in materials, tooling, inks, and copy that will improve production in accordance with the principles of ISO 9000.•Performs required record keeping, testing and measurement using test equipment and computers as necessary.•Communicates all pertinent information to the next shift verbally and in writing.•Constantly monitors registration, copy, color, and other quality parameters making corrections as necessary.•Maximizes productivity by balancing speed against quality requirements.•TroubleshootsQualifications:•Computer literacy.•Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations.•Good problem-solving and communication skills. Education:•High school diploma or equivalent
